Dedee Culley

For Dedee Culley, RN (she/her), her work as a cannabis nurse is far more than a job or career: It's a calling. Dedee grew up wanting to become a nurse and a teacher. Over 20 years ago, she was able to combine those two passions by becoming an RN and seizing opportunities to teach whenever she could. As an RN, she saw how patients benefited from medical cannabis use when more advanced medications failed.

In 2014, Dedee searched for a way to better manage the chronic pain and anxiety she'd dealt with for years and discovered that more holistic and naturopathic therapies, including cannabis, offered more hope than prescription medications had. In 2018, she learned that cannabis helped children with various forms of epilepsy.

Later that year came her biggest personal challenge: her husband was diagnosed with a glioblastoma, terminal brain tumor. She researched day and night to find what would provide the best hope. Again, she found cannabis. Dedee's personal experiences have driven her passion exponentially to provide best practices and most successful methods to all medical cannabis patients.

Dedee is a Cannabis Sommelier Interpener with the Trichome Institute and owner of 2 Leaf Nurses, offering medical cannabis education workshops for social groups and community organizations in Missouri, as well as cannabis education sessions for health care professionals, agencies, and organizations of all sizes and backgrounds. Congratulations to Dedee for being elected to the Missouri Nurses Association for 2021 and 2022!

Christan Baisden, RN (she/her) is an animal lover, foodie, mom, and wife. She loves to laugh, to learn, and grow, to create, and make an impact in people's lives - which is exactly why she chose nursing as her career.

She's been in the medical field for 19 years, 13 years as a nurse. She's spent the last 2.5 years learning everything she can about using cannabis as a medicine. She's also been involved in Network Marketing for almost a decade, learning and creating effective business and marketing strategies that provide immense value and help aspiring business owners start and grow a thriving online business.

Christan is passionate about helping others heal using cannabis as a medicine. Being someone who used to be totally against it herself, she understands the stigma that still exists and she's committed to educating those who are open to learning about the healing benefits of cannabis and helping them live more fully.

Michele Morris RN, BSN (she/her) is a Boston College graduate and has over two decades of bedside nursing experience in specialty areas including surgery, perianesthesia, and pain management. She enjoys breaking down the stigma of cannabis as medicine by sharing research and patient testimonials as well as her own personal story of overcoming chronic pain without the use of pharmaceutical therapy. Michele educates patients on the form and function of the endocannabinoid system as well as safe and effective use of cannabis. Common issues she has helped patients manage include pain, sleep, and mood and anxiety.

She is passionate about helping others heal with plant based modalities including cannabis and essential oils. With a strong focus on education, Michele enjoys guiding and supporting patients on their wellness journeys by incorporating the mind, body and spirit in the healing process. Michele is an intuitive healer and incorporates yoga, reiki and breathwork into her daily life and encourages those that are willing to do the same. She educates on how to nourish your endocannabinoid system with and and without the plant!

Michele lives near Cape Cod, MA and is an avid outdoors- woman. With over 15 years experience in animal rescue work, Michele has become known as the “go to girl” for CBD use within the pet population and LOVES working with her canine and feline clients and their owners.
