TERPENE: Humulene \ ˈhyümyəˌlēn \ alpha-humulene or α-caryophyllene
FOUND IN: Humelene is found not only in cannabis, but in hops, basil, clove, black pepper, sage, and ginseng. It is a cannabis plant’s built in pest control, keeps animals away and keeps bacteria from forming on a mature flowering cannabis plant. Like Myrcene and Pinene, Humulene is a key element in the aromatic profile of cannabis.
